I've got quite a number of her recordings and think Blue Light Til Dawn is her best. I also like Thunderbird quite a bit. This link to reviews of her discography pretty well coincides with my thoughts as to her strong and weak albums. http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&searchlink=CASSANDRA|WILSON&sql=11:0ifexqy5ldfe~T2

Yeah, Blue,  Moon and Traveling Miles would be my top 3.
I like her delivery, so I have all her albums(or most of them)...except her latest, working on that one.

One of my most listen to artist.  If you have a vinyl rig get Traveling Miles.  It's a 2 album set with nice album art.

One of my most fave artists.  I constantly listen to New Moon Daughter and Rendezvous (with Jacky Terrasson).

My thoughts exactly :D. I have found quite a few of Cassandra's CDs used at two different local music stores. I have just recently been listening to her music and I enjoy it very much. My favorites would be New Moon Daughter and Traveling Miles as well.

For those of us who love Travelling Miles, keep in mind it is also available as a wonderful HiRez version (I gotta push HiRez, right?  :) ).  DTS Entertainment released it as a DVD-Audio (with included DTS lossy tracks as well).  The stereo layer is 24/48k.  The 5.1 multichannel surround layer, however, is unlistenable...not because of the sonics but because of the mix.  I discovered years ago that the front and back right channels were swapped and told DTS about it.  After getting to some fairly high levels within DTS and EMI (the studio who did the mix) they thanked me and over the next several months sent THREE additional versions to me (all of them unchanged and still wrong!).  I believe it is still wrong to this day..but now that we can rip DVD-Audio I have ripped it into 6 WAV files and then taken the two channels and swapped them back for my own corrected version.  :)  BTW, the DTS layer is pretty good sounding, and not in error.

Blue Light Til Dawn is my favorite from the 6 albums I have. Songbook is another classic Cassandra album. Another worth mentioning is Rendezvous where she teams up with Jacky Terrasson. Others include Glamoured, Loverly, & Thunderbird.

Wow, JTWRACE, you did WELL. Those are some dynamite picks. You'll really enjoy getting into her catalog. I have 8 of her CDs, including most of those you have and have been mentioned. Great stuff. And her backing musicians are top-notch. Good find.

Mhnnn...those labels look like Second Spin's ...you got a good selection some of her earlier stuff (90's) and some of her later major label albums. Good prices too.  :thumb:
Enjoy.
