  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome Duckey!

Your audio run is about as long as mine.  Trends nowadays are running towards CD quality streaming (millions of albums available for just a monthly fee, no storage needed) and active monitors (low voltage crossover, one channel of amplification per driver, many other features mostly for consumers).

Waiting on delivery of a combo streamer/pre-amp/room EQ/wireless speaker transmitter to connect to my Buchardt A500SE active monitors (low voltage crossover that accepts various "Master Tunings"/(4) DAC's/(4) 150 watt mono-blocks/(2) Purifi mid-woofers) that are rated 25-40,000 Hz, +/-1.5 dB in 14"x7"x11" cabinets.  The complete system fits in (3) small boxes with (3) power cords as the only wires.  Total cost: $6700 including stands.
