Actually; only one pair is for me. The other three pairs are for three of my Carver-fest buddies who've been begging me for years to build them. It's a huge amount of work-- I won't be doing this again.

Since I was building four pairs, I had some PC boards made up for the HV bias supplies rather than using prototype perf boards. Below is the HV bias supply and step-up transformers under a plexiglass cover; which sits below the woofer at the rear of each speaker:

The gentleman that sold them to me also sold me a pair of DIY xo that takes the place of the stock box. They do in fact sound better.
