'All Is True' is a movie about the life and days of Shakespeare after he quit writing. But it is really about the assemblage of Royal Shakespeare Theater actors in one film. Directed, produced, and starring the greatest Shakespearean actor of our time, Kenneth Branagh along with Ian McKellan and Judy Dench, it creates the world of Shakespeare's dysfunctional family. Scene after scene are gems of fantastic acting... stuff to be studied in theater classes for years to come. Occasionally slow moving with no explosions or gun battles, it's not a John Wick.
But if you appreciate great acting and beautifully created scenes find it and watch it.
