That's a good price. I have never ordered from them so am wondering if anyone has experience ordering from them. The resellerratings on LP Gear is somewhat low.

 LP Gear, ordered the OC9 MKII on 3-20 confirmed shipped on 3-21.

I've used LPGear once. Shipped quickly and safely. Didn't have any problem with them on that one occasion.

going to compare to AT 150MLX

Had a Denon Dl-S1 that I trashed the cantilever, want to try higher
output MM and MC

Probally send the Denon to Soundsmith

Don't have any personal experience.  My reference was to the fact that it is a MC and remember reading favorable things about it.  I just switched back to a MC and its been like somebody turned the lights on in my recordings.  The price listed for the OC9 is silly good.  I hope the cartridge is the real thing.

I have the OC9/II. Really outstanding for the money. If your phono pre can accept a MC, you can't go wrong with the OC9/II.
