Looks like the laminates are being dropped and here are the new wood finishes.

Cherry, Quartered Maple, Wenge are staying.

All are NO Extra Charge in the Omega Line.

What a wonderful finish. I think that I will be a "Omega Collector"...one of kind of finish...laughs...

Well...my Omega (in second system) "took wings and soared higher". A friend listen the Super 8 and now the Omega have a new home in Rio de Janeiro. 

That is great news: many, many people here in Brazil now are VERY curious about the Omega Loudspeakers.

And now I need a new loudspeaker to my second system. Guess what the brand and model of the new loudspeaker? 

The "problem" now will be choose the new finish...

Great to hear and I did get a very nice email from your friend. He likes them a lot and very happy to hear the news is spreading in Brazil.

The web site still list the laminates.

Are the new wood now offered on both Omega and Hoyt-Bedford speakers?

Are there any woods not list in the o.p.

Hi Richard,

Will be making some changes and the laminates are gone. I can still finish with the laminates on a special order basis.

The Omega Finishes will be available on the Hoyt Bedford line. The standard finishes for Hoyt is Cherry and Quartered Maple the others are options. That's the only difference.
