That you were going to introduce a speaker line, what ever happened to that idea?

I will be putting them up on the website as soon as my guy returns from vacation. One is a monitor based on the FE-103 (for the SE amps) and the other is an all out electrostatic.

Indeed, and the members of the Arizona Audio Video Club are looking forward to hosting Roger and his products and also finding the right time and place for this meeting.

Are these electrostatic panels curved for a richer dispersion?  I can't tell from the pictures but, they don't look like it.

My ESL has excellent dispersion and achieves this without curving the panel. One cannot stretch a diaphram in a curved panel without making many comprimomises. If this needs further explanation let me know. There is indeed a way to do this but it requires wide electrode spacing and high polarizing voltages.

The popular ESL, whose name I need not mention, has a high crossover point (700 Hz typically) and thus is really a two way speaker with a cone woofer and ES tweeter.

So, Roger - at this stage can you say whether you will attend RMAF?

Not going to RMAF this year, but will give it some thought for next year.

Hello Roger,

I enjoy reading your posts.  I think this is my first post in your circle and I want to make it known that I am not trolling  -- I just want to learn for future purchase considerations.  I have a pair a smaller curved Sound Lab stats.  What are the pros and cons of a curved design.

Regard,
