Hi all, I’ve finally made it through the break-in process on my new Kismet and Candella upgrades. Gotta say it was worth the wait! Imaging with the new hardware is simply outstanding. I have a small room, ~ 1150 cubic foot, & getting everything adjusted in my room has been a challenge but the end result has produced a very enjoyable sonic experience for me.
I’ve just completed some measurements and am curious if others have similar results. Base noise is @ ~ 20dB. Maximum (comfortable) listening level in my room Is ~ 75dB (quarter volume on the Kismet). This gives me 55dB of dynamic range. I can only describe my audio experience with the new gear as complete sonic immersion, I think my Wife is starting to get a bit jealous with the amount of time I’m spending in the room. I can’t help it, the sound is simply AMAZING!
