Multiple iPods with iTunes?
« on: 26 Jan 2012, 03:55 am »
Hey guys...

I have a 160gb iPod classic 7G that I use as my main portable player. I also have a little nano that I totally forgot about. It's an older nano, looks nothing like the current version. I'm guessing it's a 2005 or 2006 model. Anyway, if I want to connect it to my iTunes library, will it keep the same settings as my current iPod, or will it allow me to set separate ones such as when I connect my iPhone? I'd really like to have a nano playlist that I can sync whenever I connect it, but wanted to check first before I actually tried it.

Thanks!

Yes, each device will maintain its own settings.

If your nano is a first gen you may be able to get a new one.

wow, thanks! I'm almost positive this one qualifies. I bought it off a friend of mine, but the link doesn't seem to indicate that only the original owner qualifies. A new nano would be great :)

EDIT: Yep, it qualifies! Thanks MaxCast...I feel like you just bought me a new iPod!

I wonder if they replace it with a spankin' new one or a refurbished 2nd gen? lol
