RMAF 2011
« on: 15 Jul 2011, 10:02 pm »
I'm all set to attend the show this year. Got my airplane tickets. Got shuttle bus from airport to hotel and back to airport. Got a room reserved at the Marriott for Friday,Saturday and Sunday. $99.00 a night plus fees. $341.10 total.

Anybody like to share the room with me?

                                             Thanks

Should be great.

I lived in Colorado Springs for years, so I'll be staying down there with friends
and running up to Denver for the show.

Anybody willing to meet for dinner at Wynkoop is welcome. http://www.wynkoop.com/
One of the many and oldest Brew Pub, and located in lower downtown Denver (LODO). Killer brews, music and food.

Great Scott! I think it will be a good show this year. Consumer sentiment is supposedly down, but I couldn't find a single parking spot at the mall yesterday.  :thumb:

I'm really looking forward to hearing Volti Audio again. They were at Capitol AF, their first show ever. He had such a good time he decided to come to RMAF too, from Maine. Awesome custom craftsman Klipschorn clones made with all the best modder parts. Also want to hear the new Polks again, Legacy Focus SE, I guess I better make a list!

If you are staying in the Tech Center (where the show is), then I recommend Pasquini's very close by the hotel.  Great, great pizza and calzones.  They even cater to vegetarians, if you are so inclined.

Me too and I've got a discount on the shuttle bus from and back to the airport. I'll be there Friday afternoon about three.

                                                              Cheers

Log onto the audiofest web site. click "Accommodations" That will show you room rates and at the bottom the shuttle service fare. The Blue Bus. $32 round trip. Gotta reserve and pay in advance.

                                             Cheers

It will be fun, it will be real, it will be real fun.

I booked a hotel at Hotwire for $42 a night. It is a Ramada and is three minutes away from the show. On the Ramada website, they say they have a free shuttle to the Tech center. I hope to bump inro some of you guys at the show.

I can use the money saved on the room to buy me some cool merchandise at the show. :thumb:

Could be tight for me.  I may be in China through Wednesday and it looks like I need to be in San Diego Monday.  I wanted to stay through Sunday this year and leisurely depart on Monday.  My wife was planning to come along this year also.  In the end I may just bag it altogether. :(
