Loves me some Santana, mi lady.  How's about "Havana Moon"?  Besides that, we have got to get you to expand your musical horizons.  Your speaker placement within your large room- not to mention your system- will lay out an orchestra and venue three-dimensionally like few others.  In the mean time, Patti Smith's "Dream of Life" is slaying me at the moment.  She is such a lyricist on "When Duty Calls" you can taste the smoke.  Jane Siberry and her "When I Was a Boy" is another even more altruistic artist who will rarely, if ever, get airplay.

Good wake up music for a Saturday morning. This was recorded live at Easy Street Records in Seattle on Record Store Day in 2015. There is a you tube video too, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFolqS24Y6U

Hello All

Laura, I asked Toni the same question, how do you like this.  There are lots of choices on how to get this, including hi-rez download (oh! the horror)

I have lots of versions of Abrades, one of the very few perfect albums (IMHO), your thoughts would be appreciated.

Phil,

Gregg Rolie and Neal Schoen are back in the band. If you like Santana, Abraxas and III, you will like this one. Rolie's vocals and keyboards really blend well with Carlos' guitar. I like it a lot.

Quote
The mythic, yet, short lived Memphis band comprised of Alex Chilton, Chris Bell, Andy Hummel, and Jody Stephens named Big Star, resides in the highest realms of power pop accolades for their three - at the time, overlooked- studio albums recorded between 1972-1974. Twenty years after their unceremonious dissolution, drummer Stephens recruited Posies' Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow and a wary Alex Chilton to reform Big Star at the request of two fanatical student DJs from University of Missouri. This two LP Record Store Day gatefold package finally captures that full historic set for the first time on a commercial release, mastered at high resolution from the original master tapes, and adding five previously unreleased performances to it’s original release in 1993 and now accurately re-titled, Complete Columbia: Live at University of Missouri 4/25/93. Limited to 4,000 copies.

Michael Fremer said if you only buy one RSD release, buy this one. It's terrific IMO, plus it was recorded at my alma mater,
