The time has come to thin the herd, but I am only now starting to catalog them.

I'm a big fan of dbX encoded lp's, but hate those dvx things.   :D
The reality is that I AM a fan of dbX encoded stuff, but sadly my dbX hardware is out in the shed.  I've probably got around 40-50 encoded disc, but haven't played them in many a year.  Many complained about audible "breathing", but I never observed it.

I really enjoyed the dbx records I had back in the day.  :thumb:

So what happened to the DBX records?  Did you ever pull them out and play them, or are they still sitting on the shelf (like mine)?

I sold my dbx decoder and records many, many years ago.

The decoder is still in the basement, the records are sitting on the floor in front of the shelf.    Not sure my preamp has an unused tape monitor loop.

This has been a multi-month reorganization/downsizing of my LP collection, as well as a merger of two large camera collections that occupy the same space.
