Amp hook-ups
« on: 24 Sep 2005, 04:51 pm »
Hi, has anyone ever bridged the T-amp (right positive/left negative)??

I want to connect my 2 channel T-amp to my centre channel that has 4 binding posts and unsure of the hook-ups. Of course I could connect only one channel and leave the other channel empty but I think that would be a waste..

Any ideas out there??

If you are referring to the TacT amps they cannot be bridged.

I would've guessed he was talking about the Sonic-T amp... isn't there a Clari-T amp also?

So what's a T-amp?  Does it have a mohawk and drive a van? ;)

Waste away.... The sonicT (which is a switching amp and certainly not digital in the context of the Digital Processing Circle) is a single rail BTL amp, its already bridged. You cannot bridge between the 2 channels.  Don't even think about paralleling 2 channels. Waste half of that $30 amp, and just use one of the channels. Consider it a luxurious indulgence......
