I was wondering whether anybody here has a 2900 with the "standard" mods (the ones for $550) and, if so, could they compare it to the stock unit. I just purchased a mint 2900 with the idea of having it modded, but I do have a budget in mind. Thanks for your help.
BTW - the 2900 has better Redbook audio than I expected.
