Jim - would an HT-0.5 work ?
« on: 14 Aug 2012, 09:13 pm »
Would it be possible to take the WOW1 and replace the OW1 with a RAAL (thereby creating an HT-0.5)?

Would that have the power handling capabilities to be a good match to 3xHT-1 for a 5.0?

Just pondering about my KEF iQ3/iQ1 HT upgrade path

Anything is possible.  But it seems to me that you would want to at least use the W15 rather than the W12.  You would end up with basically a "Supercharged SongBird."

With the W15, you would end up with a little more cone area for the woofer and about a 1.5db increase in sensitivity as well.
