First saw Eric w/ the Electromagnets, a jazz rock band, at a small bar and was blown away by his skill. We saw him a great number of times afterward at other bars and small halls/venues. A talented player and one who deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Satriani, Vai and DiMeola (who I saw Eric back up along w/ Steve Morse once).

All great players! Steve Morse is a personal favorite from that list because I am a big Dixie Dregs fan
