Just in case you don't frequent the Bent Audio forum (I highly recommend John Chapman's products... his TX102 pre-amps are incredible and he is a super person), John is hosting a get together a week from this Saturday.

I would love to attend just to hear the GR-Research Alpha LS. A set of Criterions will be there also.

PS. Like Danny, John offers home auditions for his products.
The TX102S is going to stay at my house. My wife will not let it leave our system. So, we are buying it. Hey, what the wife wants... now, if I can only get her to really want the Alphas.

I spent the better part of a day with John at the WCES. He is a really nice guy, and I am glad I was able to meet him.
I also tried a couple of his passive pre-amps.
If your system lends itself to the use of a passive pre-amp I highly recommend his units. I can't imagine a better made passive unit than these.
I hope you guys have a blast at his get together. I am sure you will. I wish I could come.

Sometime in February I will have a pair of Criterions, a pair of ELF 1.5s and a pair of Jordan JX92S minimonitors available for evaluation by potential clients in Canada.

You guys makes me jealous! How much is a plane ticket from Montreal to Vancouver? And you are right about John, never met him but he is one of the nicest guy to deal with.....same with Danny.
