Unless the tweeter has a bad transformer you don't need to replace it.  The foam pads are no longer available, we have slotted masks now.  These are $12pr plus $3 shipping.

We don't have any faceplates for the ribbon tweeters on hand, unfortunately.

Do you have any suggestions for testing/confiming that the FST tweeter
transformer is in proper working order?  Primary and secondary DC resistance
perhaps to start?  I know there is much more to it but this would be a start.

If both tweeters sound the same and play at the same level with a given input, they're OK.  Bad transformers usually give you low output levels.

So these have the mega woofers, and I read here where Brian states that the "mid-woofer upgrade"
requires an additional cap:

"The crossovers require an additional cap when the midwoofer upgrade is done. "

I just want to confirm that the crossover is correct for the mega mid-woofer, it has a series C,
shunt L, L-Pad, then a series L, no second cap.

Do I need to add a cap?
