Okay, I just got the sides, bow-tie, and bases back from Lone Star Create Werks.
They coated them with a granite finish that starts out as a mud. It dries a little harder than concrete. Then the layering of the dyes are built up to make a granite look that can be anything you can imagine.
Mine has a little Gold and Black cracking through it, a light Copper veining, and various Browns and Blacks. Then the clear coat had a little Mica in it to add another layer of depth to it.
They look really good. I'll post some pics as I assemble them.
