I had KHorns some years ago and did pretty much "the list" of recommended almost free tweaks to them:
Brace the corners they sit in (I used sheets of MDF)
Rope caulk the squaker
Crites A / AA crossovers
Seal the KHorn to the wall with pipe insulation
Re-wire the speakers
I'm sure a couple of other things I can't remember

They all helped to some degree or another I suppose

Well, this is a bit older. But, if your looking for balanced sound, sell them. You can go the route of using GR-Research upgrades to coils and caps, they will sound much better! As well doing no res!

I would sell them, and consider a DIY set from GR. Otherwise, go the full route on them!
