I have a Peachtree Nova. I truly enjoy it! Sounds great.
Anyways, I am just curious. Since I don't use the Nova's amp section, I'm looking for opinions regarding a preamp and USB DAC that you think (or "know") would outperform the Nova's preamp/DAC combo. The Nova uses the ESS 9006 Sabre DAC.
Here is info on the Nova.
I wouldn't want to spend anymore than what I could get for the Nova ($1000? It's a fairly new replacement unit, rev.2, for my original Nova).
