I had love affairs when Lionel Richie's "Truly," "Endless Love" and "Lady" (Kenny Rogers version) were #1, so I like those.

'Our song' with my wife is Lionel Richie's "My Love,"  and "Always Something There To Remind Me" - Burt Bacharach/Naked Eyes, and "Our Love Is Here To Stay."

"Sailing" - Christopher Cross, first slow dance at band camp in 10th grade.  :green:

"Forget Me Nots" - Patrice Rushen

"Wishing On A Star" - Rose Royce

"The Way You Look Tonight" - Paul Desmond version

"I Don't Stand A Ghost Of A Chance" - Clifford Brown version

Love this thread Mag,

I just want to shout out for George Michael. Everything he did is solid gold. Vote for careless whisper (brings a tear to my eye) and just about all his love songs as well. So much believe in what he stood for and wish more artist had got behind him in the heat of the times.
Nuff said. Here is my additions to your list:

Vince Gill - What you don't say
                The reason why

Keith Urban - Making memories of us

Alison Krauss - when you say nothing

Nickel Creek - hanging on a thread

Edie Brickell - nothing

Men at Work - down by the sea
