I've already sent dan an email but i thought i'd comment publicly on his customer service skills.
A month or so ago (it seems longer as i've missed my dac) i sent my pt p3a modwright level 1 to dan to be upgraded to level 2 status. If you don't know i live in perth western australia which is almost half way around the world from the states.
Anyway i received the dac circuit board today and it is working excellently. As i've told dan i would need to have a level 1 p3a dac to subjectively compare the 2. I can, however, say that it absolutely trounces my pioneer pds 507 (with g&d clock upgrade) which is no slouch.
Anyway, thanks again dan i will be purchasing from you in the future.
