I have been looking at options to 'upgrade' from Parasound Halo to a different integrated amp. So far, a used Wells Majestic with Bybee upgrades and a used MBL C51 Corona are the most intriguing. I keep running across great reviews of the Raven Audio Avian integrated amps; the more I read about Dave Thomson at Raven and his products, especially the 20 Watt Blackhawk and 30 Watt Osprey, the more I am reminded of Jim Salk and his approach to musical speakers. A common passion for the enjoyment of music seems to drive them both. All that said, information on how the Raven products sound in combination with Salk speakers is hard to come by.
Does anyone in this community have any feedback on the Raven Blackhawk or Osprey driving Salks? I have the standard Song3s, so that would be most relevant to my immediate interest. I know there are many other integrated amps that work well with the Song3s but would really appreciate hearing about experiences with the Raven products.
