Ref 8/8b and Ref 9 will continue to be the "work horse" monoblocks for 2 channels and high-end multichannels.  
It is our plan to allow existing customer to purchase circuit board and/or power supply upgrade in the future (through your dealer).
Customers can expect to pay about 25% of the MSRP for future circuit board upgrade.

Upgrade - for major improvement and it requires complete circuit board replacement. This should happen only once a year and customer can decide if the improvement (which we'll publish) is worth the upgrade. There is no need to upgrade every year. You decide. We do not have any fix time frame for such upgrade. It is R&D driven. It may happen every 12 months, or 18 months or 24 months.

Update - for minor improvement (eg. version 8.01) and we offer the service at very reasonable price.

Warranty Service - note that you have 1 year of full warranty and 2 additional years of parts.  We charge very reasonable fee for labor so you effectively have 3 years of warranty (it takes less than 30 min to replace a circuit board or power supply :)).

I like the simplicity of the amp design (2 circuit boards).  :D   Not to many companies actually troubleshoot down to the component level, unless they're trying to determine root/cuase.
