I am thinking about purchasing a CI Audio VPC-1 to go between my Pioneer DV-45a and my new Odyssey Stratos. I believe the Stratos has an input impedence of 10kOhms. Will this be a problem?
I am not an electrical engineer, so I am not well-versed in Ohm's law. Why does the impedence matching make such a large difference?
Is it best to just try it and see what happens? I will have very short IC runs. About 8 inches between each component and that cable will have very low capacitance.
Does anybody have suggestions?
Thanks in advance
