Question?  My Decware ZenHead 9 volt red wire connection to the battery has separated.  Do I sent it back to Steve for repair or have the repair done where I live.  Shipping cost for the unit and repair might be equal.

It's a low voltage system.  Remove the battery, have connection repaired and reinstall battery.

Here's the separated wire.

I'd get a new battery clip, then extend the internal wires a little, then attach the clip.  My amp was always too tight with the battery, which puts a strain on the wires, probably flexing them and causing the break.

Good advice Dale.  I'll take it to Shrewsbury Stereo repair department tomorrow and explain what has to be done to avoid this happening in the future.

You can buy the battery clip at Radio Shack. Remove the circuit board, unsolder the old wires , and solder in the new wires. Should be a very simple repair and only take a few minutes. Or you could do what Dale said and solder the new battery clip wires to the old wires and insulate with heat shrink tubing.
