This movie is about the investigation into Robert Hanssen.  Hanssen was an FBI analyst instead of a field agent, so the movie is more about characters than an action-packed thriller with field operatives.  Chris Cooper gives a good performance.

I thought it was OK.  A mild thumbs up.

I enjoyed "Breach" quite a bit. I didn't expect it to be an action-packed film, and some of the movie did pack a fair amount of tension. Acting was good to very good. The film even got some of the D.C. area "scenery" right, although the ariel shot of Wilson Boulevard appeared to be the intersection of Rt. 495 and Rt. 50.

While not as well-crafted a spy film as "The Good Shepherd", I still recommend "Breach" to anyone looking for a solid and entertaining film.
