My First Portable Set-Up - Sounds Very Nice Boys!

Welll, I have been doing a lot of traveling for work as of late, so I put together my first portable system:

Sony D-FJ401 portable CDP (purchase a pair of these on e-Bay for a song - AM/FM+TV tuner+weather band to boot), Meier Porta Corda MKII portable amplifer (biased for class A - pick up in a Head-Fi group buy), and a pair of Alessandro MS-1 headphones (a refined Grado design).   I use the line-out from the CDP to the amp.  I have to tell you one of the best $250 bucks I have ever spent.

While it does not compete with my two channel rig, it gives me some real sonic bliss.  I have never been much for portable audio, but my new toys have given me pause to reconsider the merits.

Apartment dwellers and those who like to keep the external dB's to a minimum should consider heading down the portable system track. All aboard!
