Klaus' HT1's
« on: 27 Aug 2006, 03:08 pm »
Klaus wanted to purchase a pair of demo Veracity HT1's I had done in bubinga.  But the cabinets were a little worse for wear and I didn't feel comfortable selling them.

The problem was, Klaus did not feel he could afford a new pair.  So we came up with an alternative plan.

Instead of using solid wood on the front baffles, we would simply veneer the front face of the cabinets and transfer all the parts from the old cabinets.  He would have new cabinets at the demo price and I would feel better not having to ship the well-worn cabinets.

Here are the resulting HT1's:

Happy listening Klaus!

Speakers have been unpacked and they look just gorgeous !

Can't wait to hook them up soon. I know my wife will be thrilled because the craftmanship is so outstanding and they will just blend and stand out perfectly in the room they are going into.

I haven't quite figured out yet what kind of stand they should best be put on.

Any recommendations Jim (or anyone )?

Klaus -

There are some stands that I like (and use) ...

They are well built, sturdy, can be sand-filled if desired and are reasonably priced.
