A question about SL vs EC chassis
« on: 5 Apr 2003, 11:25 pm »
I have one question for you folks:  the SL page for the OmegaStar preamp has options listed, but I was under the impression that to add phase inverter, phono, etc required stepping up to the EC chassis.  Is this not the case?

Is it possible to get an OmegaStar preamp with the phase inverter option in the SL chassis?

Thanks.

Hi:

We can install both the tape buffers and the OmegaStar phase inverter in either chassis.  The main difference is that the EC chassis has tone controls, switched AC outlets, more inputs, and a few other features.

If you want tone controls or need more than six source inputs then you want the EC chassis, otherwise the SL chassis is the way to go.

Thanks for you interest in AVA products!!
