For sale diy class A Sony VFET amplifier. The circuit is the 2015 Sony VFET Part 2 Pass circuit. It uses one set of Sony 2SK82 and 2SJ28 VFETs per channel for about 15 watts into 8 ohms and 20 watts into 4 ohms. The circuit boards are custom made for this application and are fitted to a clone of a First Watt chassis. The Sony Vfet transistors are now rare and out of production long ago. VFET are unusual transistors with a characteristic similarity to Triode tubes. The front plate has “VFET “ laser etched on it. I am the second owner and the only reason for the sale is to fund another project. I have two other VFET amplifier already and will have another one in the works. I’m asking $850 plus actual shipping cost to the lower 48 state only please.
