I don't think it is possible to be further off topic than this. The Christmas Goat  may have a history I am not aware of but it just struck me so funny I wanted to share it. Who would think to build the worlds largest christmas goat?

A friend in Sweden (Per Arne Ameflo from sonicdesign.se) sent an e-mail a few weeks back with the simple title "Worlds Largest Christmas Goat". Already  I could not stop laughing - Both he and the other fellows he worked with had the best sense of humor! The e-mail contained a simple link to a webcam:

Then it was closely followed by “A DIY guide to build your own goat”:

Then I spotted this link to a bit of history on The Goat:

Now I am relieved that they will begin to re-build The Goat starting soon and it can be followed at the first link to the webcam above. Does a lighter strike twice in one place? Only time will tell…..
