They don't make movies like this anymore...until they do.

Wonderful B/W cinematography.  Beautiful leading lady.  Great acting.  Perfect soundtrack. Metaphor or parable?  Who cares?
I don't want to say more about it....just "see it."

Thanks for the write up!! It sounds fantastic!! I’ll be putting this on our watch list for sure .

You should check out,  Roma ,   if you have Netflix. It’s in spectacular black and white, and up for a bunch of award nominations!

I'm holding out ....hoping Roma will get a theater re-release.  We have Netflix but love the cinema experience.
I became interested in Mexican directors when I first saw Pan's Labyrith  then Babel.  Looks like this will their be fourth Oscar in five years.

Polish films have been on my radar for a lot longer.  (And Polish film posters could become addictive if I had more wall-space.)
Cold War is special.  If could mention earlier films it evokes but don't want to cloud your experience...so what comes next deserves a Spoiler Alert.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!
After seeing Cold War  come back and read the following study guide question.

NOT NOW unless you have seen Cold War.

Did this make A Star is Born seem even more hollow than you thought when you saw IT?
