Someone please try out the balanced CAST system (called ACSS) here, please! please! Get a FBI or a CIA and let me know how it sounds with one of their DACS! I really want to hear some impressions, and comparisons to KRELL (one of the few others that use the CAST).
I have a dac and headphone amp from here, and its the best I have ever heard, I love it. The guy (Kingwa) who creates the components I read won some kind of national electronic design award. He also seems like a great guy to deal with in the communication I have had with him, willing to give you all the detailed info. you want.
I am really close to pulling the trigger on a CIA or FBI with a Reference 1 or 7 balanced config / ACSS.
(btw I have no affiliation with the company, I just love my REf5/Roc setup from them and want to know more about their other products)
I find the CAST/ACSS setups intriguing and superior.
