Hi
Finished my X-LS build this weekend. Thanks to those who contributed to some of my questions on this forum, and to Danny for answering patiently each time. I'm not going to post a long build thread, but suffice to say, that it was a great experience for me and I learnt a helluva lot, especially about woodworking that I haven't really been into before. Below are some images.

Apologies, don't know why they are rotated :duh:

That happens to me when the file size is too large. If I open the picture in a photo editor then save a copy as a jpeg at reduced resolution (50%-80% of original) then upload the smaller file it appears right side up in the post.

Cropped and rotated them for ya! :thumb:
They look fantastic by the way! Really enjoy the look of the veneer!

Your speakers look really sharp. Nice job on them. I finished an XL-S Encore build a couple of weeks ago and I am really enjoying listening to them. The sound keeps getting better and I am really surprised (pleasantly) with the amount of low end these produce. I did not expect that... I expected the clarity and detailed sound stage.... not so much was I expecting to hear such quality and clarity in the 40-50 hz area. Amazing!!

MattSelinger, I agree with your sentiment on the clarity and soundstage. I only have about 15 hours on mine so the bass is now coming in.
Naboo, they are looking sharp. Well done.
I have mine in gloss white.

Thank you all and thanks Hobbs for rotating the pics.
Speaker challenged, yours looks awesome too!
Someone asked about the sound - I think I can't improve on Matt Selinger's answer - that is spot on.

Wow! Nice work. :thumb:

I love how you did the front baffle in gloss black, nicely done on that. The contrast with the veneered sides looks really good.

Those are gorgeous -- nicely done!
