That's just wrong.

What was really wrong was that she lived in a garage for the first 2 1/2 years of her life.  When I bought her,  she had gone 2500 mile in almost three years.  i have added 78,000 miles in five years...all types of weather, she is happy.

Ok, if you say so! By the way, the hideousmobile is gone. I donated it to Vietnam Veterans of America.

Andy - the thing I love about the BB5 is the drivers are 4 feet out from the back wall even though the back of the speaker is against the wall :thumb:

Just curious Andy how close are your speakers to your back wall.

Hi,

The wall you see it due to be removed and double the size of the room......

Currently the BB5's are about 40mm off the back wall.

The money saved up to extend the room got spent on, well you can see what it bought

For info that's a tri amp BB5 rig with a pair of Active cross overs waiting to get wired up, A BP26/MPS2 is on route. Pair of 7B SST for the bass, 4B SST mids, 3B SST HF. I really want another pair of 7B for the mids.......

My 5 ch cinema system is 5ch MB2 with front LCR all Bi amp with 7B SST's (14 for the center) . Rears each on  bridged 4B SST (Cos I ran out of 7's )

New toy arrived the other day, a beaten up BB5 active cabinet that I am going to use with a 7B ST as the LFE ch ,

JAMES - You need to get the SP3 into the real world , for totally selfish reasons, I want my 5ch rig to sing  :eyebrows:

Hi,

The Black PMC's are my 5ch MB2 rig - other room......These were new.

The BB5 were going to be black but I changed my mind when I ordered - Black was a little too over powering  in the living room...........These were new and are now well run in.

I also have ONE black ash BB5 active speaker, this is ex studio and the cabinet is in very poor condition - But I bought it only to run active and test my passive vs active - might sound excessive but im an audio engineer so for me its very informative and I love doing that work..........

The BP26MM&MC with MPS2 arrived today.....so its just getting to room temp.

The BP26/MPS2 need a front change to go 19" rack mount.......

There was a slight mistake when I designed the racks......they were built in Beech and the speakers in walnut.

As for the sound - well its very "real", piano, sax, hand claps all sit in the room next to you.

I have some cables to finish in both sysems, but this takes time........

Glad you guys like it, there are two golden rules, dont mention the dust or 28B's......

Andy.
