Can i use the VRX*1 balanced cable from the VDA-2 to the inputs of a Behringer DCX2496 or should there be a preamp in between?  I have a VPC-3 passive controller but it doesn't have XLR in/out.

VRX-1 cable set will give the VDA-2 true balanced output on standard XLR connectors.
