Some exciting news for RMAF...
This year we’ll be debuting our long awaited C•100S power amplifier in a minimalist system.
You may remember... I talked about E•100S a few years ago, but for various supply issues couldn’t make it happen. I ditched the idea for awhile but kept thinking of all possibilities. Rather than making a down-sized E•200S, I started from scratch with an all new design... C•100S is the result.
This new amplifier has stunning performance in a compact package and affordable cost.
Many of you also know I’ve been working on loudspeaker driver design & development for the last 10 years.
Well, the time has come... Dan Wiggins & I (NOU Audio) will debut the first of our line of ultra-high performance loudspeaker transducers. We will demo a little 5.25” 2 way speaker that is a “must hear to believe”.
These drivers are state of the art using several patented technologies achieving the lowest distortion, highest dynamics on the market.
More info coming soon!

While I'm not in need of any small speakers at the moment, I certainly look forward to hearing what you've created. :thumb:

Dusty, will the speakers be sold through the CIA site?
-
NOU Audio is a separate company so drivers will be sold through that website.
Website will be launched in a couple of weeks.
As a teaser, here's a glimpse of the 5.25" woofer/midrange

Hawt!

Looks a lot like the Scanspeak Ellipticor 18WE/4542T-00 but a smaller driver.

The motor structure looks similar but that’s where it ends. Their 7” has only 14mm of linear stroke... our 5.25” has 28mm of linear stroke, flatter response, and much lower cone break up due to our 9 sided cone.
Look carefully at the photo and you’ll see the facets of the cone.
I will share more soon!
