While the Audiostatic is interesting their Sceptre S8 self powered coaxial studio monitors made by Presonus have me more interested. Looks like great bang for the buck.

Quite a change from the previously listed ES panels promised for $2K with 20Hz bass extension, told you that was nothing more than a pipe dream!

I don't want to highjack this thread but just watched this guys reaction to the Prosonus S8, the same as the Essence Sceptre S8 and love his reaction. You can't hear the quality of the speakers but love his reaction. He is comparing them to the Event 2030 which has found it's way into quite a few recording studios. Here is the link.

It would be nice to see photos of a real product, not just a rendered image.  The website states it should have been available 11/3/2015.

I wouldn't believe anything on their website at this point, they've lost any credibility that they had from my perspective.

+1 on that. They still have not called back a Space Coast Audio Society member who expressed interest and I was going to go with him 4 months ago. I could only imagine how they would handle a service issue.
