I am putting together a small system for air travel. I purchased a used pair of B&W P7 wired cans. I am looking at either the Fiio A3 or A5. The P7 is a pretty easy load at 22 ohms, so I don't need the extra power of the A5. Power notwithstanding, would I be able to hear the difference in the two amps otherwise? I will spend the coin for the A5, but why do it if the A3 will be just as good for my needs?

Also welcome comments on the P7. I read all the reviews and they seem to check all the boxes. I really needed a closed back headphone for my situation.

The only way to be sure is to actually try them....but maybe someone who has experience in this area will chime in.

I doubt that you will really hear a drastic difference between the two.
