The nice thing about being adults, is that we aren't boxed in and constrained with words like "favorite".
Our minds are open enough that we can just enjoy the music and not be troubled with "which is better, SRV or Clapton", or "what's your favorite color", or "Who's your favorite drummer"?
No. They're all great, that's why I listen to them.
Just like the two Santana songs you linked, they're fantastic. There's no room in my life for spending the time to "figure out" which one is my "favorite".

Rock on Brother.
Just listen.

(This makes me want to have an emoticon that's a face, with eyes closed and headphones on)

Hey Bob. the local boy Lyal Stricklad, is the opening act for Vince Gill in Springfield this Friday and it is a sell out. :thumb:

Played in the Animals (1977) and The Wall Tours (1980). He appears in the album "Is There Anybody Out There?". Roger Waters called him back for the Wall Live in Berlin Concert and also for his solo career concerts support as well.

Yes. Actually from what I know he did play on the "pigs on the wing" song in the official release "Animals". Then afterwards, was called back for the Gigs.  On the Animals Tour he played the bass on "sheep", guitars on "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" as a additional guitarrist and the base guitar.

After the notorious last concert of the tour, in Montreal (July 6, 1977), the band led by Snowy played a long, sad blues as music for the people to leave to. David Gilmour had walked out of the stage.

On the Wall Tour (1980) Snowy played the main solos on "another brick in the wall - pt II" and base guitars, jamming with Gilmour in some tracks. In 1981 he was replaced due to a contract with another band.
