  My AVP 17 from 2009 don´t deliver any sound from any source. Adjustments and volume works fine in according to the panel.
 Adjustments and everything works as usual and it looks okay, but no sound. and no sound-code change when I change source.
 Is it possible to uppgrade or reprogram it?
 Or any other sugestions?

It´s to early to replace it! You have to make an AVP18 first!

In dec 2011 I solved the problem by buying a used AVP 17. And it worked out well...until this morning
Now its silent in the exact same way as my old AVP 17.

Is this a typical problem for this pre-amp? How do I solve it?

You could try a Factory Reset as listed under "OTHER FUNCTIONS" in the AVP-17 manual.

I have placed a lot of AVP-17s and haven't heard of this issue, but maybe tech support might know.

Also, the AVP-18 "is" out and should be shipping soon

And while it may be quite obvious, check to make sure the MUTE button on the remote hasn't been pushed.

Thanks John, I have been in contact with Casey and it seems to be a flash-problem. So I will send my digital boards overseas for recovery...   (tried a reset with no change)..
