BDP-3 HDMI output i2s ..??

BDP-3 HDMI output i2s ..??

Hi folks!

Does anyone know whether the HDMI output from the BDP-3 enables i2s transmissions into a DAC with i2s input ?

From reading posts it seems like the answer is a hard NO. 

But wondering if anyone has confirmed this..??

I was thinking about this myself. The owners guide (page 5) does talk about HDMI output as having up to 192/24 and DSD-64 as being supported. But we do not know what the pin-out conforms to...or if it is i2s.

It's a standard HDMI output, not I2S.
