With the L4s I remember lots of folks replacing the stock rectifier 6U5C, in mine, with a 6x5gt tung sol.  My Big 7 has the same stock rectifiers does that mean I can swap them out Like i did in my L4 with a tung sol 6x5gt?

Sure thing, Guf.  The Tung Sol (pair) are nice in the Big 7.  My fav 6x5 for the 7 is Slyvania so far.
