How do you use Monkey Audio????
« on: 16 Jun 2003, 12:33 am »
A lot of people in this forum mention monkey audio and seem to be quite good with it.  I need your help.  I don't know how to rip a cd on to my computer using this program.  I would like because of the compressed disk size but loss-less compression in quality.  If anyone could help me with this i'd truly appreciate it. thanks.

AFAIK Monkey's Audio doesn't support ripping from CD's directly. You will need something like EAC (Exact Audio Copy) or Easy CD-DA Extractor. EAC is postcard ware and works very well, while Easy CD-DA is shareware.

If you have something that will extract the wave files from you CD's already, then Monkey's Audio will convert them in short order. The help file details how to get it to work with EAC. EAC is available here
