I have to put in a good word about the Daedalus cables. After I bought my pre-owned (pre-loved) DA-1.1 v2s from Dodgealum, I experimented with several cables before Lou out the bug in my ear that the Daedalus cables are basically like a component upgrade. I bit the bullet on a pair - the most expensive cables I’ve ever purchased.
They arrived on a day where I had a particularly stressful time at work. They say you should never critically listen or evaluate equipment when you are in a bad mood, especially with cables. Against that advice, I carefully put them into my system and expected to be disappointed. Instead, I was amazed to hear such a sharp contrast from the prior cables (which were quite good in their own right). The Daedalus cables are just more of every superlative you can describe a speaker cable with - more space, cleaner, better defined highs, zero fatigue, smooth throughout the entire spectrum, and lots of detail and energy. If you like the Daedalus house sound for its nonfatiguing, natural sound, these cables still deliver that along with a healthy dose of detail and energy that may otherwise have gone missing. Yes, you can have it all. Turns out the cost of the cables was a bargain - no component or component upgrade for two grand or less would have yielded nearly this level of improvement.
