I am selling my beloved 4.0 speakers. This is the home theater set which includes a shielded center speaker. These are black ceramic. I am asking $600 plus shipping.
-
Hi nyguy,
Do you have pictures? And i assume you would be shipping from NY?
-
Yes, I can post pictures . It will take me a few days to get them up. They are in excellent condition, same as when i bought them. They are at my family's house in NJ and i will ship from there and only charge actual shipping price.

By the way, welcome nyguy to Audio Circle! I did have to approve your second post. Please review the guidelines here

"Please note: Your account will for a short time be in an "introductory phase." During this time:

So as not to run afoul of the rules, please give us a little info about your audiophile history, how you came to buy the nOrh speakers, what other gear you may listen with...
You will need to make more posts before you can take advantage of all the features on the site.
A further question is, do you have the original packing materials for these? Its tugh to save 5 large boxes but the foam is form-fitted to the drums. nOrh seems to do a great job in shipping.

No worries. I got in to norh back in 2001. Did a lot of time reading and listening and finally pulled the trigger on the 4.0s with an SVS sub. Unfortunately, many moves later I've come to realizes these are difficult to place in tiny apts, so figured it was time to move on.

Ah - that was a time when many ACers had nOrh speakers and then nOrh CD-1s and amps :)
You are now a Jr. Member! You should be able to set up a photo album and upload your pictures...

I've finally gotten around to taking pictures of the speakers. I'm located in NY/NJ area for those that can do a local pick up.

These look good. Handmade ceramic, very low cabinet resonance. Looks like a great find for someone.
-

-
Still avail?
Don

Yes they are still available

I guess since I'm such a new member, I can't send private messages. I am interested. These would ship to St. Louis, MO. Rather than continue this in the thread, could you contact me via email and we can discuss particulars? My address is
mandolindon at gmail dot com
Thanks

There had to be more than the bubble wrap pictured?
Hope you get it resolved ASAP.
To anyone else considering a Norh ceramic purchase - if the original molded foam packaging is not available I would insist on a minimum of 4" bubble wrap and then preferably in a box with a couple inches of foam - and that would also apply to a purchase of any type of ceramic item.

:o ooooo painful!
