Title: RCA to XLR conversion
Post by: ua100k on 8 Nov 2010, 09:59 pm
Hi Dustry,

Is it possible to convert an exsiting D200 Mk I (older model) with RCA line input to XLR Balance Inputs? If yes, can I do this myself or do I have to send it back to the factory.

The Balance inputs will allow longer cable with less noise on it and I can place the units closer to the speakers.

Thank you.

You will need to send them to us for the change. It is somewhat difficult because the jacks are mounted under the power supply board and the entire amplifier has to be disassembled and reassembled. Cost is $125 + shipping for the pair.

Hi,

I am purchasing this from someone else. Can I have them ship this to you and then send you a pre-paid return shipping label to send it back to me.

What is the address that I will send it to and also how do I pay you.

Finally, just to confirm, the unit - D200, is a fully balanced unit so the XLR connections will be fully balanced, is that correct? Can you do this for $100?

Thank you.

Merrill.
