Title: BDP-Pi
Post by: Paul2016 on 29 Sep 2016, 04:58 pm
Maybe I'm not seeing the image properly on the Bryston website of the BDP-Pi unit

I see 4 USB inputs, 1 HDMI, 1 Ethernet, 1 Coax, 1 S/PDIF, & 1 Toslink, isn't there a USB out as well for a USB DAC?

Hi Paul

Yes USB is a two way system so they can be used as either inputs or outputs.

Hi James:

I wanted to let you know that I've purchased a BDP-PI (Serial # 00048) from the AudioShop in Kanata.  This unit is to replace my Squeezebox 3 system.

First impressions: Sound is amazing.  I've hooked this up using the coaxial digital output to my Anthem MRX receiver/Bryston 4BST mains.  The one work that comes us to describe the change is "clarity".?

My thanks!

Good to hear that you're enjoying it, I'll be going to TAVES over the weekend and hope to have a listen, I've been using my Dell laptop with JRiver but have been considering one of the BDP units. Cheers
